robots for bigtime
Sorry I didn't post a comic last night. I sat down to do one, I even had two written, but I just didn't feel like it. So I just sat and drew instead. Lately I've been really enjoying doodling with my nib pen and my pretty sepia ink. It's really challenging to just draw in ink without pencilling first, but very freeing as well. I wouldn't normally post stuff like this but lately I've been noticing a few people posting pages of their sketchbooks and I find it really interesting to see that from other artists, so here you go!

Anyway, last night I read in [info]radrobot's journal that he was feeling down, and I drew a page of robots to cheer him up!

Ducklings are notorious for two things: Being able to breathe when it seems impossible, and stealing your lunch when you are not watching.

I'm sure you'd agree with me that a gumball robot could be... suitably modified... for... a related but quite different function?....

I agree with [info]patchworkrobot, the fridgebot would be the most utilitarian of them, though the gumball-bot is delightfully frivilous!

i like doodle pages! i even dreamed about something like this right now.

if my fridge suddenly started walking it would look a lot like that big dude with the duckling. but without the duckling. i don't store meat in my fridge.

Geeze Man!!
Your "crappy" drawings are still really good! I mean seriously.
And you did them straight from ink as well.
The sepia ink showed up much better than your last drawings too.

PS: there will be a helpful email from me this afternoon!!

Right now, I have the biggest smile on my face because of you.

I really like the one with the dashed line around it. It reminds me of a patch that I would want to wear on my messenger bag, were such a patch to exist.

PS: I packed up your t-shirt tonight!
